The Fallone family has owned and operated Cantoro Italian Market for over 50 years. In 2014, they opened the doors to Cantoro Italian Market & Trattoria in Plymouth, Michigan, expanding their offering of outstanding food & wine to the Metro-Detroit market.

Michael MacDonald, CS • Beverage Director
Mike joined Cantoro in 2021, bringing 30+ years of experience in fine wine, spirits, and beer: working in sales on the supplier and distribution uniquely positioned him to lead in this role.
When he's not working, he enjoys golfing, travel, and watching sports.
If it were his last meal, he would pair it with Château Lafite Rothschild.
His advice to new wine enthusiasts is:Read "Wine for Dummies" and "Windows of the World". Finally, taste as many different types of wine as you can!

Alex Bazzy, CS • Assistant Department Manager
Alex joined Cantoro, serving as the GM to the Trattoria for over 8 years. His career in hospitality spans over 30 years; including such businesses as The Whitney, Omni Hotel, Bacco and more.
When not helping our guests select a great bottle, he likes to hunt, ski, and travel.
If it were his last meal, he would pair it with a 1945 Gaja Barbaresco.
His advice to new wine enthusiasts is:Learn to trust your palette and don't be afraid to try new wines!
